Broken for a month, the Hubble Telescope is now back in operation

Liputan6.com, Washington – Space Telescope Hubble has returned to full operation after more than a month of disconnection due to communication problems with the orbiting observatory, NASA said on Tuesday, December 7, 2021.

The historic space telescope, which has revealed surprising images of the star, galaxy, and other space objects since 1990, sending error codes to NASA starting October 23.

The observatory’s instruments shut down automatically in safe mode Oct. 25 as communication problems persist, as reported by UPI, Thursday (9/12/2021).

“Tim Hubble NASA’s Space Telescope restored the Imaging Spectrograp function on Monday, December 6 and now operates with four active instruments that gather science, “NASA said in a press release.

“The team will continue to work on developing and testing changes to the instrument software that will allow them to perform science operations even if members face more communication problems, NASA said.
