Brno’s art scene is in mourning. Popular cleaning lady Marie Veselá from HaDivadl, who in addition to taking care of the order there, also starred in one of the productions, succumbed to a long illness. The sad news was announced by her colleagues.
For years she has been in charge of cleaning in Brno’s HaDivadle and has grown so fond of the acting staff that she has moved on the boards that represent the world not just with a mop in hand. Unfortunately, Marie Veselá breathed it in last week.
“A few days ago, our Maruška Veselá left this world after a long illness,” her colleagues announced on Facebook.
As the head of the cleaning team, she was a favorite of subordinates and actors. “When we came to the theater a few years ago as a new management, she became an essential part of the ensemble as the main cleaner. Even after she finished cleaning, she stayed with us in a small role in the production of The Little Bourgeois. And she continues to be with us in our hearts “, continued Veselé’s theater friends.
