BRMS Stock Rages! READ-TBIG ​​Collapsing to be Top Losers

According to IDX data, there are 176 stocks that have risen, 295 stocks have declined and 168 stocks have stagnated, with a transaction value of IDR 13.67 trillion and a trading volume of 18.57 billion shares.

Foreign investors in the stock market entered Indonesia with a record that foreign net purchases reached Rp 480.77 billion in the regular market. Meanwhile, foreigners recorded a net purchase on the negotiation market and cash market amounting to Rp 33.05 billion.

According to IDX data, Issuer LPG distributor ESSA went fast and topped the top gainers by racing 18.79% to Rp 354 / share. The value of the issuer’s transaction TP Rachmat and Garibaldi ‘Boy’ Thohir amounted to Rp 178.0 billion.

The latest news is ESSA signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) for Blue Ammonia Production in Indonesia.

ESSA through its subsidiary, PT Panca Amara Utama will work to develop low-carbon Ammonia Production in Indonesia, also known as Blue Ammonia, with Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corporation (JOGMEC), Mitsubishi Corporation (MC) and the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) .

Apart from ESSA, Bakrie Group mining issuer PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) also shot to become top gainers by 12.05% to Rp 354 / share.

The shares of the issuer, a subsidiary of PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), recorded transactions of Rp. 166.9 billion. In addition, BRMS shares continued to move in the green zone despite the Rp 7.16 billion foreign buying action.

Previously, BRMS had obtained permission from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) regarding the implementation of additional capital with pre-emptive rights (PMHMETD / rights issue). The proceeds from the rights issue will be used to increase its gold production capacity in Palu and Gorontalo.

The rights issue process will be carried out on April 1 – 9, 2021, with a total of 22.9 billion new shares issued at a price of Rp 70 per share. That way, the fresh funds obtained from this corporate action are around Rp. 1.6 trillion.

Like its subsidiary, BUMI also gained 1.64% to Rp 62 / share. BUMI’s transaction value is IDR 43.92 billion.

Meanwhile, BACA’s shares of mini bank (a bank with a core capital of Rp. 1-5 trillion) fell as the top losers after touching the lower auto rejection (ARB) of 6.92% to Rp 605 / share. Thus, BACA shares have been in the red zone for four consecutive days, or since Tuesday (16/3).

The sale of BACA shares was followed by 13 other mini bank shares. Maspion Bank (BMAS) shares, for example, fell 6.94%.

Then, Bank Artha Graha (INPC) fell 6.92%, Bank Bumi Arta (BNBA) fell 6.80%, Bank Jago (SDRA) fell 1.42%.
