Brittany: here are the Breton beers rewarded at the Agricultural Show

Like every year, the General agricultural competitionorganized as part of the Agricultural Show, was an opportunity to reward many local products. During the 2023 edition of the Paris fair, nearly 200 beers won medals. Eight of them were brewed in a brasserie located in Brittany.

Blind tastings

After a blind tasting of beers brewed by a jury made up of professionals, eight Breton beers are among the winners of the General Agricultural Competition. Only one Breton beer won the gold medal at the show organized in Paris. Discover it track record :

🥇 Gold Medal

  • The Duchesse Anne Triple from the Lancelot brewery to Roc-Saint-Andre (Morbihan)

🥈 Silver Medal

  • The Venete’s blonde from the Nicol cider house in Surzur (Morbihan)
  • The Blonde Bagpiper and the Amber Bagpipe from the Bigoud cider house to Plovan (Finistere)
  • The Duchesse Anne Triple Hops and the Blanche Hermine IPA of the Lancelot brewery in Roc-Saint-André (Morbihan)
  • The She woke up of the La Belle Joie brewery in Hennebont (Morbihan)

🥉 Bronze medal

  • The Black St’Aff from the Roy brewery to La Gacilly (Morbihan)

The Bigoud cider house located in Plovan and the Lancelot brewery located in Roc-Sainy-André have been awarded several times at the 2023 General Agricultural Competition. One year after winning the gold medal with GX Poivre, the brewery La Bière de Groix did not win any awards this year.
