Rowds flocked to the beaches to sunbathe when temperatures reached nearly 23 ° C in some parts of England.

A man was taken to hospital after falling off the side of a slipway near Beacon in Redcar, North Yorkshire, around 1.20pm.
The Royal National Lifeboat Institute (RNLI) in Redcar said the man suffered head injuries and possible spinal injuries.
