According to Garnett, he ran a security firm that had contracts with the National Health Service (NHS). With journalists and paparazzi showing up at his work, NHS workers were worried.

Sofia Karkadym, 22, moved from Lvov to Germany and then to Bradford in West Yorkshire in May, fleeing the war in Ukraine.
She moved into the home of Tony and Lorna Garnett, who were in a relationship and raised two children, although they were not married.
The girl was against it, but the Briton offered the Ukrainian woman to live with them as part of a government sponsorship program aimed at helping Ukrainians who are forced to leave their homes due to the war in Ukraine.
The relationship between Lorna and Sofia did not work out, in particular, because of jealousy. Soon the girl began to think about moving out from the Garnetts.
In the end, a conflict broke out between the couple due to a bad attitude towards the Ukrainian, which resulted in the fact that 10 days after their arrival, Anthony and Sofia left the Garnett house together.
