According to the housekeeper, she had taken a Spears dog to the vet because she had questions about the animal’s health. When she returned, the feud would have escalated.
The singer denies the allegations. According to Mathew Rosengart, Spears’ lawyer, it is “an overly sensational tabloid story”. The District Attorney’s Office of Ventura (Los Angeles) must now decide whether to formally charge.
