On her account, she diligently shares musings, dance videos and an insight into life, to the great delight of the fans. Now she also shows a slightly different side of herself.
On Friday night American time, the 39-year-old appeared on Instagram wearing only one garment – a pair of denim shorts.
The topless picture has made fans gape, and several have taken to the comments section to express their enthusiasm, including reality star Paris Hilton.
“That’s hot,” Hilton writes, with a clear reference to his own “slogan.”
“Oops, she did it again”, writes a fan, referring to Britney’s hit song “Oops! … I did it again”.
Surprises with rare photos
“Free the Britties,” writes another, referring to the FreeBritney movement.
At the time of writing, the post has over 2.3 million likes, and over 74,000 comments.

The 39-year-old has been very active on social media in recent weeks, especially after she broke the silence about the guardianship she is subject to in court earlier this month.
On Instagram, she also chose to skin some family members, which she apparently does not think supports her enough. Also the father James Spears, who has been one of the pop star’s guardians for the last 13 years, had to undergo.
