Britney Spears’ father will remain his daughter’s guardian with regard to her property. So the court decided, at least until February 2021, the next date for review of the case.

He had stepped back last year as he struggled with a colon rupture. Jodi Montgomery, a certified tutor, had been selected as the temporary tutor. The interpreter of Toxic asked that she become his guardian permanently. Justice did not accede to his request.
While Jamie Spears hadn’t been taking care of the medical decisions for his daughter since last year, he kept control of the finances. Britney Spears had asked that a “qualified trust company take on this role”. Also refused. The court did not change anything in the conditions of guardianship of Britney Spears.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Britney Spears’ lawyer has until September 18 to challenge this decision.
