International star Britney Spears recently released the book The Woman in Me, which deals with her memoirs and lists secrets that she told for the first time about her personal life.
The book achieved huge sales numbers, reaching 15 million copies sold in just 24 hours, with international press reports confirming the book’s entry into the Guinness Book of World Records as the best-selling book in 24 hours, surpassing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, which sold 11 million. Version of it in 24 hours at the time of its release in 2007.
Britney’s book ranked first in book sales on the online purchasing site Amazon, hours after its release on October 24. The book was scheduled to be released recently before Britney Spears postponed it due to her stopping writing more than once due to circumstances beyond her control.
Spears revealed in her book The Woman in Me that she does not plan to return to singing again and that her decision to retire from singing, which was announced in 2021, is irreversible. She said: Moving forward with my musical career is not the focus of my interest at the present time. The time has come for me, not to be… Someone that others want, it’s time to actually find myself.
The international star also spoke in her memoirs about shaving all of her hair in 2007, and commented: I was in the spotlight a lot while growing up. I was looked at from above and below, and people would tell me what they thought of my body. Since I was a teenager, it was an accident that I shaved my entire head.
