Britney Spears, the renowned 42-year-old pop star, has raised apprehensions about her well-being following her departure from the illustrious Chateau Marmont hotel in West Hollywood.
On the night of Wednesday, May 1, 2024, Spears was observed leaving the hotel alongside her former housekeeper, Paul Richard Soliz. However, it remains uncertain whether the ambulance that had been called to the hotel was intended for Spears.
She exited the premises by herself, wearing short white shorts, while wrapped in a brown blanket and carrying a pillow. Though the ambulance was present at the scene, the eyewitness confirms that Spears did not enter it.
According to the eyewitness, “Britney came out with Paul Richard Soliz and some others. Someone gave her a blanket to throw over, and she had a pillow covering her front. She took a few steps and turned around and went back, not getting into the stretcher they had brought out.” The witness also mentions that a woman in Spears’ entourage was observed conversing with the paramedics.
The Los Angeles Fire Department received a 911 call at approximately 12:42 a.m. (May 2, 2024), requesting aid for an injured adult female. However, no specific details regarding the nature of the injury were provided by the caller. Although an LAFD paramedic ambulance arrived at the location, it remains unclear whether they encountered the injured person or provided any medical assistance. Subsequently, the ambulance departed the Chateau Marmont at 1:17 a.m. without transporting anyone to the hospital. Law enforcement officials did not respond to the incident.
ET has reached out to Spears for comment, but a source close to her confirms that Spears is now safe at home and in good health.

On Thursday, Spears published an Instagram post that she later deleted. In the post, she appeared to dispute reports about her location the night before. Alongside the caption, she shared a photo that allegedly depicted an AI-generated image of a man on the beach, seemingly countering the barefoot photographs taken of her leaving the Chateau Marmont.
Refuting the legitimacy of the photographs, Spears wrote in the caption, “Just to let people know… the news is fake!!! Most of the pics are body doubles and I think most know that!!! I would like respect at this time for people to understand I am getting stronger every day!!! Truth sucks so can someone teach me how to lie??? Goddesses out there, I’m reaching my higher power, and furthermore, I hope you guys are too!!! I need a new toothbrush right now!!! PS… I need an espresso!!! PSS… Not sure why I feel the need to share this… I guess I’m just a girl and I’m on my period so I’m b**chy… sh*t.”
A couple of hours after removing the post, Spears returned to Instagram to elaborate on her injury. She shared a video showcasing her bruised foot and asserted that paramedics, illegally in her view, arrived at her door. Although they never entered her room, she claimed to feel entirely harassed and declared her intention to move to Boston, seeking peace.
In the video, Spears stated, “I really twisted my ankle last night. It’s so bad. F**king idiot here tries to do a leap in the living room of the Chateau and I fell. Embarrassed myself. And that’s it.”
In a subsequent post, Spears voiced her belief that her 68-year-old mother, Lynne Spears, was involved in the events surrounding the ambulance being called. She wrote, “I know my mom was involved!!! I haven’t talked to her in 6 months, and she called right after it happened before the news being out!!! I was set up just like she did way back when!!! I wish I had grandparents!!! I can’t stand her!!! I honestly don’t care, I will say it. 👍🏻🤷🏼♀️!!!” The post does not elaborate on the specifics of her mother’s alleged involvement.
Paul Richard Soliz and Britney Spears
Paul Richard Soliz, who was previously photographed alongside Britney Spears in Los Angeles in August 2024 following her breakup with Sam Asghari, was seen with Spears outside the Chateau Marmont. Soliz was seated in the passenger seat while Spears drove her Mercedes-Benz coupe.
Last summer, after her split from Asghari, they were spotted spending time together. However, in September, it was reported that the convicted felon was no longer in a relationship with the “Gimme More” singer. It remains unclear what their current relationship entails.
As reported earlier, Spears and Asghari settled their divorce recently, less than a year after the 29-year-old fitness trainer filed for divorce. Despite tying the knot in June 2022 with a prenuptial agreement in place, Asghari will not receive any financial compensation or spousal support according to the settlement.
