Variety magazine reports that 37-year-old singer Britney Spears has joined a psychiatric clinic to deal with growing emotional problems. The portal “TMZ” also confirms that the singer has gone to the clinic. He started treatment last week and spent 30 days in a medical institution. The Blast, on the other hand, writes that Britney is currently treating health problems related to her obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), but claims that the singer is not in hospital.
A spokeswoman for the pop princess has not yet made an official statement about the singer’s health.
Talks about the growing mental problems came on Wednesday when Britney told her Instagram profile to millions of her followers that she planned to take some “time” for herself.
Lately, the singer has been under a lot of stress with his father’s health problems, which endanger his life. In January of this year, Britney announced that she was taking indefinite leave because her father had experienced a rupture of the colon and was at risk of losing his life. Last month, Jamie Spears underwent reoperation to save the organ.
An acquaintance of the singer told the celebrity magazine “People” that “Britain needs time to take care of itself”, because in recent months he has devoted all his worries only to his father.
“Father’s illness has taken a lot of her nerves,” says the scientist. “He barely died and underwent another operation a few weeks ago. He’s not doing well. Britney and her dad are very close, and this is an emotionally difficult time for her. Nothing dramatic is happening with Britney right now – she just realized that now she needs to take care of herself. ”
Spears herself has confirmed on social media that her father “almost died” after going to the hospital last year.
Jamie Spears is Britain’s only court-appointed guardian since her lawyer, Andrew Valette, recently resigned. Valletta was appointed as the second guardian in charge of the singer’s real estate. He took office in 2008, a year after the pop star experienced a nervous breakdown. Since then, the singer’s father has also been the official guardian of the daughter, responsible for all matters relating to British money and its use.
Britney has previously said in interviews that she suffers from obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) or anxious feelings with obsessive thoughts.
Let us remind you that in 2007 Spears experienced a nervous breakdown. At the time, her marriage to dancer Kevin Federlain broke up and she temporarily lost custody of both sons due to emotional instability. Over the years, she has managed to restore them and the two share custody of the children with her ex-husband.
Twelve years ago, as a result of a nervous breakdown, Britney shaved her hair, while in a rage, she attacked a paparazzi sitting in a car with an umbrella. The incident was photographed by another colleague and this message with extensive photo material reached the front pages of the news.
