Two years after Britney Spears was freed from her father’s custody, the 41-year-old singer is preparing to reveal exciting facts from her life, in a book of memoirs that arouses great anticipation.
The book “The Woman in Me” will be released tomorrow, Tuesday, in about 20 countries, where it has been translated into about 10 languages.
The text of the book was kept very secret by the Simon & Schuster publishing house, which, according to American media, paid more than $15 million to obtain the rights.
The singer told People magazine, which on Tuesday published the first pages of the book of confessions, which is expected to have a strong impact, that “reliving the events was exciting, heartbreaking, and moving.”
She added, “For all these reasons, I will only read a small part of my book,” while actress Michelle Williams will read the rest.
A few days before its release, the book reached the top of sales through the pre-order feature on Amazon in the United States and France.
The publication of promotional excerpts from the work caused many reactions.
