After his father became king, Prince William approached the throne as a successor to the British monarchy. His relationship with a number of women who almost became queens or empresses was again discussed. One report says that Britney Spears is one who has never stopped in his heart.
The relationship between Prince William and Britney Spears is back in the limelight. The controversial pop diva is said to have almost become a British royal princess because they were close to dating. Sources say the two had an online romance 20 years ago. It was revealed that they had gotten close even though they had not ended up being together.
This was first discussed in 2002 when Britney Spears told host Frank Skinner. The 40-year-old woman shared frequent email chats with Prince William. Britney had even invited him to dinner together on a tour of England.
