Claims that Britney does not feel trapped, but wants to remove her father from guardianship.
In a few weeks, the world-famous pop idol Britney Spears (39) will in another round in court against her own father, where she will present her views to the judge on the guardianship the father has had for her since 2007.
According to TMZ Spears will not express a desire to end the guardianship, as many have expected. She will, however, want her father James Spears removed.
– She does not feel trapped in the 13-year-long guardianship, a source, who is supposedly very close to Spears, said to the website.

– She has about as much freedom now as she would have had if she had not lived under guardianship. The only guardianship she refuses to do is make hasty decisions such as buying three cars on the same day, the source says.
It was in 2007, in the wake of the very public collapse where Britney, among other things, shaved her hair in front of paparazzi photographers, that her father James Spears was appointed guardian of the 39-year-old. The guardianship means that the father has control over the daughter’s finances, something Britney wants another person to do now.
According to TMZ, Britney wants to talk to the judge about the fact that she wants her father out of the role of guardian, and that someone else will manage her finances and business agreements. According to the website, it is supposedly Jodi Montgomery who acts as guardian until further notice, and the two are supposed to get along well.
The hearing, which will take place in a few weeks, is supposed to be open to the public. It will finally be decided what Britney Spears wants for herself in the future.
