After the divorce of the famous and controversial American singer Britney Spears from her husband, model Sam Asghari, broke out during the past hours, amid a wave of rumors about her threat and blackmail, the pop star’s ex-husband broke his silence.
And he made it clear, in a brief statement that he posted via the Astori feature on his Instagram account, yesterday evening, Thursday, that the couple decided to end their journey together.
He also stressed that he always wishes her the best, adding that they will stick to love and respect for each other.
Bad things happen
However, he pointed out that bad or “dirty” things happen, in general, in life.
And he asked to try to respect their privacy, but he hinted at the time that it seems difficult for some, especially the media, asking them to be kind and considerate of the feelings of others, “at the very least.”
While Spears remains silent about the case, her legal team has not made any comment.
And a document submitted to the Los Angeles Superior Court showed, last Wednesday, that Asgari had filed for divorce from the American star after only 14 months of their marriage last year, after the legal guardianship was lifted.
The document also showed that Asgari, 29, attributed the reason for the divorce request to “inevitable differences.” While seeking alimony from Spears, he also demanded that she pay the legal fees for the case, according to Reuters.
After dating for 6 years
It is noteworthy that Asghari, who was born in Iran, married the American star (41 years old) 14 months ago, in June 2022, after dating for nearly 6 years. He is a personal trainer and an actor who appeared in the series “Black Monday”.
They tied the knot just months after a judge ended Ali’s legal guardianship Spears who imposed restrictions on her personal life and financial affairs for 13 years. She said at the time during the court proceedings that she longed to get married and start a new family without any restrictions.
Spears’ third marriage
The legal guardianship of her father, Jimmy Spears, was imposed on her after she suffered a public breakdown in 2007, and was subsequently hospitalized due to undisclosed psychological problems.
This marriage or divorce is the third for Spears. She was previously married to Alexander, her childhood friend, in a surprise party in Las Vegas in 2004, but the marriage was annulled shortly after.
Then, nine months later, she married dancer Kevin Federline, with whom she had two children. This marriage ended in divorce in 2007.
