On Wednesday, a judge decided that Britney Spears does not have to attend a hearing in the guardianship case.

Britney had her guardianship revoked last November. Subsequently, the two sides have been in dispute over, among other things, legal fees and other costs related to the 13-year-long guardianship.

In early June, Jamie Spears asked the court for his daughter to go to a hearing in the case. Spears is accused of, among other things, spying on the daughter during the guardianship he held over her for several years, reports TMZ.

Jamie’s lawyer argued that the client could not defend himself against the accusations from his daughter, without having the opportunity to question Britney under oath.

Some of the accusations against Jamie Spears are about Britney being forced to give a large amount of blood for medical treatment, being forced to participate in therapy, as well as not being allowed to possess painkillers.

Several of these accusations have been posted by Britney online and will be featured in her forthcoming memoir.

The judge said in his explanation that Jamie Spears can find the information he needs to defend himself in the case from other sources.

Jamie Spears has been accused of using surveillance equipment to spy on his own daughter while he was her guardian.

Among other things, secret audio recordings have been taken from her bedroom.

The father, on the other hand, denies having spied on his daughter, and states that the claims are “false”.

After Britney got guardianship revoked in November last year, has she remarried.
