Britney Spears put an end to rumors about an upcoming album through a publication on his Instagram account where he stated that he will “never” return to the music industry.
«Just to be clear, most of the news is garbage. They keep saying that I’m turning to random people to make a new album. “I will never return to the music industry!” said the singer.
Spears also assured that in recent years she has dedicated herself to writing songs for other artists. and that she is currently happy being a “ghostwriter.”
«For those who have read my book, there are a lot of things you don’t know about me… I’ve written over 20 songs for other people in the last two years, I’m a ghostwriter and I honestly enjoy it that way!the singer elaborated.
Spears’ response comes after the American celebrity magazine Page Six released a note this Wednesday in which it stated that there were rumors that the singers Charlie XCX and Julia Michaels would be working on an album for the ‘Toxic’ singer.
It is worth remembering that the singer’s last studio album was ‘Glory’ and it came out in 2016, compiling hits like ‘Slumber Party’ or ‘Just Luv Me’.
