With a photo of herself as a little girl, Britney Spears announces the big reunion with her mother Lynne. “My dear mama showed up at the door yesterday after three years… It’s been so long,” she captioned the photo. “With family you always have to work out quarrels, and time heals all wounds! I have now been able to say everything that I have bottled up for such an extremely long time and I feel blessed that we were able to make amends.” She ends with a declaration of love: “I love you so much!” With a nod to previous reports that she would be addicted to caffeine, she also says she is happy that they can drink coffee together.

Mother and daughter had been at odds for three years since the battle against her father Jamie Spears’s administration broke out. “My father Jamie Spears may have started the trusteeship, but it is my mother who gave him the idea”, pointed out the ‘Toxic’ singer Lynne with the finger. Also in a 22-minute audio recording on her YouTube account, Britney claimed her parents had “premeditatedly” conspired to control her finances and accused her mother of treason.

But on Wednesday, Lynne Spears was suddenly spotted in Los Angeles. Lynne first arrived at the home of Britney’s manager Cade Hudson, then took a taxi to Britney’s home where she welcomed her mother with open arms. Britney’s husband Sam would also have been present.
