British Woman Credits Her Longevity to Raising Four-Legged Friends, Not Having Children

During her life, she did not give birth to heirs, but raised many four-legged ones.

The British woman, who celebrated her 108th birthday, called the absence of children the secret of her longevity.

About it writes BBC.

Ada Danielle was the proud owner of many greyhounds when she was younger and joked that her pets were the secret ingredient to long life.

Ada has been living at Codnor Park nursing home in Codnor, Derbyshire since 2015.

On her birthday, the staff surprised her with over a hundred postcards written by strangers.

Coordinator Kelly Goucher launched an appeal on a local Facebook page and was overwhelmed by how many people wanted to send their best wishes to the birthday girl.

“Ada doesn’t have many relatives left. She never had children, so she doesn’t have grandchildren, so we just wanted to give her more cards. She really likes the fact that people know about her because of her age,” Kelly said.

Kelly also explained that Ada had no children, but she was once the “mother” of many fluffy babies.

“I once asked her what her secret was, and she said it was to have dogs, not children,” she added.

Recall that recently the British Joyce Jackman celebrated her 102nd day and shared that how she managed to live for more than a century. She stated that her secret to a long and happy life is good sex and sherry.
