Presenter Oprah, singer Victoria Beckham, former tennis player Serena Williams, actress Jane Fonda and model Linda Evangelista are on the cover of the British Vogue which will be released next month. The fashion magazine’s cover features “forty legendary women,” says editor-in-chief Edward Enninful.
The upcoming edition of the British Vogue is the last on which the 51-year-old Enninful participates. He has created a total of 76 editions of the British fashion magazine.
Actress Salma Hayek, singers Dua Lipa and Miley Cyrus and models Gigi Hadid, Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell are also on the special cover.
“I knew that my last cover had to be dedicated to women,” the editor-in-chief wrote the website of the magazine. “It quickly became clear that it should not be about a single woman. We needed a group. After all, women have been shaping the magazine for 108 years.”
Enninful found it exciting whether forty of the most influential women in the world could come to the studio at the same time. “Spoiler alert: they all came.”
