The number of corona cases in the city and district of Würzburg continues to rise slightly. The incidence value for the city on Thursday (as of March 11, 10 a.m.) was 61.8, in the district it was 38.2. A total of 192 people infected with virus mutations, so-called Variants of Concern, were reported to the health department up to and including March 11, 10 a.m. These are spread over the city with 103 and the district with 89. So far, only the British variant B.1.1.7 has appeared, the press office continues.
Family clusters
There are larger clusters in the region in Lengfeld and Versbach, connected to Maidbronn and Höchberg and among employees of the Posthalle. According to Dagmar Hofmann, press spokeswoman for the Würzburg district office, four employees of the post hall are infected with corona.
