British TV Chef Dave Myers of The Hairy Bikers Dies at 66 After Battling Cancer

British TV chef Dave Myers, known for the cooking show The Hairy Bikers, died yesterday. The presenter died of cancer. He was 66 years old.

Myers formed a TV duo with Si King (57). The bearded TV chefs have been making The Hairy Bikers for the BBC since 2004. In the cooking program they traveled around the world on their motorcycle, tasting and cooking local dishes everywhere.

In addition, Myers and King published more than 25 cookbooks.

In 2022, Myers announced that he had cancer. After his diagnosis, he took a short break from work before recording his final season with King: The Hairy Bikers Go West.

This season premiered on the BBC last month. The duo travels along the west coast of Great Britain, from Scotland to Devon in the southwest of England.
