London: Thee, who was the lead singer of the band ‘The Specials’ in Britain, Ray Hall (63) has died. Jamaican ‘ska’ group Rupa formed in 1977 in Coventry, central England. Hall joined the band in 1979.
Bandy’s 1981 UK chart topper ‘Ghost Town’ Best song by Co-producer with Hall to form pop band Fun Boy Three in 1981. Pre-band specials by Raya Neville Staples and Linval Goulding had seven UK top 10 hits United.
