For the first time in three years, Adele appeared on television again. She was asked as a guest presenter for the great American Saturday Night Live. She especially targeted her own weight loss. And she also thanked Sarah Palin, former Republican vice presidential candidate, for launching her career.

“I know I look really different since you last saw me,” 32-year-old Adele said in her opening monologue. “But because of all the Covid restrictions and the ban on travel, I was not allowed to take a lot of luggage. I could only take half of myself, ”she joked. “And this is the half that I have chosen.”
With that, the singer referred to her striking weight loss, which has been a topic of conversation in the British tabloids for months.
Adele also said she found it very special to be part of the show that made her breakthrough in the United States twelve years ago. “I was the musical guest in 2008 when Sarah Palin was the guest of Tina Fey (an actress who imitated the politician in the program for a while, ed.)”
