British Scientists Discover People Exhale Gases Contributing to Global Warming: Study

People exhale gases that cause global warming. This is evidenced by the results of research by British scientists, reports The New York Post.

104 volunteers took part in the study. Experts say methane and nitrous oxide in the air people exhale account for up to 0.1% of the UK’s greenhouse gas emissions. Doctor Nicholas Cowan from the British Center for Ecology, which led the above studies, noted that the evidence of the harmful effects of breathing on the planet is obvious and cannot be ignored.

“We urge caution in assuming that human emissions are negligible,” he said.

“British scientists have found that people contribute to global warming simply by breathing! Finally, they said out loud what they have been trying to achieve for a long time – extra people are interfering with the climate,” comments the telegram channel “Pool No. 3” on the results of the research.

As reported EADaily, heated debate at the UN climate summit COP-28 in Dubai ended in victory for moderate supporters of the fight against global warming. Almost 200 countries have agreed to reduce their consumption of oil, gas and coal, but not phase them out.

The debate over the text of the final declaration of the UN climate summit reached such a climax that all thematic days on December 11 and 12 in Dubai were canceled, and the final decision itself appeared only on December 13.

As a result, nearly 200 countries have agreed to fight global warming without giving up fossil fuels. Consumption of oil, gas and coal will be reduced.
