British Queen lends Dordrechts Museum paintings from Cuyp

The British Queen Elizabeth lent two paintings by Aelbert Cuyp (1620-1691) to the Dordrechts Museum. These are Landscape with Shepherds and Travelers by Evening Light from 1667 and De Veerboot from 1650, works of art that hang at Buckingham Palace. The museum is preparing the exhibition In the light of Cuyp. Aelbert Cuyp & Gainsborough – Constable – Turner, opening October 3. The Director of the British Royal Collection, Tim Knox, will also give the opening speech of the exhibition.
