British Queen Elizabeth II (95) goes back to work after a week of rest, but she cancels visit to the climate summit in Glasgow

Britain’s Queen Elizabeth is the world’s longest-reigning head of state alive (the absolute record holder in history is France’s King Louis XIV.) Until recently, Buckingham Palace stressed that the Queen limited her activities because she absolutely wanted to be fit enough to attend the climate summit. in Glasgow – a visit she has now had to cancel anyway.

A conversation about this has surfaced in the British press that she had with her daughter-in-law Camilla, and which happened to be recorded by a bystander who filmed her with his smartphone. The Queen expressed annoyance because she still did not know which government leaders would be present at the climate summit in Glasgow. “They say a lot but they do little,” she said. The Queen was in Cardiff at the time to attend the opening of the Welsh Parliament.
