Australian-American woman Virginia Roberts Giuffre accused Prince Andrew of assaulting her three times more than 20 years ago when she was a minor. That would have happened in the homes of the American financier Jeffrey Epstein and his British girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell.
Central to the whole thing was a photo of Giuffre with Andrew, who had an arm around her waist. Andrew said that photo was fake. But it is a fact that Andrew belonged to the circle of friends of Jeffrey Epstein and his girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell, who at the time had recruited Giuffre for sexual services to friends.
Andrew has consistently denied allegations that he forced Giuffre into sex. In an interview several years ago, he even said that he doesn’t remember ever meeting that woman.
Epstein himself committed suicide in prison several years ago. His girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell was recently found guilty by another court in the United States of recruiting underage girls for sex with Epstein.
