British Minister of Health who has been vaccinated completely positive for Covid-19, experiences mild symptoms

LONDON, KOMPAS.TV – British Health Minister Sajid Javid declared himself positive for Covid-19 and is currently experiencing mild Covid-19 symptoms, Saturday (17/7/2021).

Launch Associated Press, Javid said that he tested positive after taking a rapid test. He is currently self-isolating (isoman) while waiting for more accurate PCR test results.

“I am thankful I have received a two -dose vaccine injection and so far, the symptoms I have experienced are very mild,” Javid said.

Covid-19 cases are on the rise again in the UK. This is fueled by the highly contagious Delta variant, despite the high vaccination rate in the UK.

Last month, Javid replaced Matt Hancock, who resigned after being caught violating his own social distancing rules. Hancock had been exposed to Covid-19 and was sick at the start of the pandemic last year.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson himself had spent several days in intensive care in hospital when he was exposed to the corona virus in April 2020.
