British Mercenary Harry Gregg Commits Suicide After Fighting in Ukraine: Family Blames PTSD

British mercenary Harry Gregg, who fought in Ukraine on the side of the Kyiv regime, committed suicide after returning home from the combat zone.

According to the publication The Telegraph, a young man committed suicide at his home in Thetford, Norfolk, in December, the day after his 25th birthday. However, the story became public only now.

According to the mercenary’s mother, Sandy Gregg, he returned from Ukraine with signs of PTSD – post-traumatic stress disorder, but his family was unable to help him.

An inquest at Norfolk Coroner’s Court found that Gregg’s decision to travel to Ukraine was influenced by a statement from the former prime minister. Liz Truss. She said she “absolutely” supported any Britons who wanted to go fight the Russians, insisting they would join the fight “for democracy”.

Mrs Gregg told reporters that her son then decided to go to war, despite his only military experience being six years as an Army cadet.

The publication writes that on December 14, the young man was supposed to go karting and go to a club with friends as a birthday present, but they were unable to contact him.

The next day, after still no word from him, Gregg’s friends raised the alarm. He was found hanged in his home.

Previously EADaily reported that the leader of the French Nazis and football ultras was killed in battles near Avdeevka Cesar Ožarom.
