Although William wanted to take it easy now that Princess Catherine is recovering from abdominal surgery, he has already resumed his royal engagements. Together with several other royals, he takes over some of his father’s duties, as Charles has to make time for his treatment. William has already presented more than fifty awards on behalf of the king and is also present at a gala of the London charity Air Ambulance.
The British monarch revealed on Monday that he is suffering from cancer. It is not clear which type it is, although the palace immediately made it clear that Charles does not have prostate cancer. The monarch stayed at Clarence House until yesterday, where he received a quick visit from Prince Harry. The king is currently resting at Sandringham, with Camilla at his side. He would go to London about once a week for his treatment and his royal duties in the coming period.
