Last week, police in Switzerland found the body of a British hiker who had been missing for three months.
It was Aidan Roche (29) from Middlesbrough in England who was found, according to The Guardian.
His family confirms the death to the newspaper.

The last time anyone heard from the British engineer was June 22. Roche was then in the Grindelwald area of the Swiss Alps, about 80 kilometers from the capital Bern.
Although something was wrong
Roche had been on the 12th day of a two-week camping trip when he was last heard from.
His friend Beth Taylor realized something was seriously wrong when she or the family hadn’t heard from Roche after a few days.

– He would never disappear like that. Usually not a day goes by without him contacting friends and family, sharing photos or videos. He’s part of a big group of friends and he wouldn’t just disappear like that, Taylor said when he was still missing.
The brother: – Hit us hard
Connor Roche, the brother, has said in a statement that the family received confirmation last week that Aidan’s body had been found by police near a path in the area.
– The news has hit us all hard, even with this result in our minds for the last few months. On behalf of my entire family, I want to say thank you to everyone who has helped us through this. We have received support from many people, who have helped us through uncertainty and unrest. It has also shown us how loved Aidan was, says the brother to The Guardian.
Arousing attention: – Met yesterday
His family raised over £32,000 during the time Roche has been missing. This corresponds to NOK 420,000.
This led to several people contributing to the search to find him, including a rescue helicopter.
