A British GP has admitted that he wanted to kill his mother’s partner with poison, which he wanted to administer under the guise of a corona shot. The assassination attempt failed, but the man was seriously injured. Legal action against the GP is now underway.
Maybe it’s a fight against willpower. The mother of the person who committed the crime had registered that her partner will get her house when she dies. The son did not agree to that. That is why, according to the Public Prosecution Service, he devised a plan to get rid of him. “Sometimes the truth is crazier than fiction,” said the prosecutor.

Thomas, 53 years old Kwan had been a nurse before his assassination plan. He had announced a home visit for a medical examination with a fake letter. He left under an assumed name and with a false number plate to a hotel in Newcastle, where his mother and her husband live.

On the day of the assassination attempt, Kwan killed himself and went to his mother’s house. To avoid suspicion, he also took blood samples from her. She did not recognize that the ‘doctor’ was her son. When it was the partner’s turn, Kwan administered the poison injection. Then he ran off.
The 71-year-old victim felt “excruciating pain” after the injection. In hospital it turned out that he was suffering from flesh-eating bacteria which had affected parts of his arm. He is scarred for life, the Public Prosecution Service says.
Toxins and chemicals
It is still unclear what the doctor injected into his victim. The suspect does not want to say this and the investigators have not been able to confirm it with 100 percent certainty. According to scientists, it may be iodomethane which is very toxic.
Police found several toxins and other chemicals at Kwan’s home. There were also books about how poison works. Kwan initially said he only wanted to hurt his victim. When the officer said there was serious evidence against him, he still came up with a full confession.
