British Foreign Secretary James Cleverley meets with President Zelensky in Kyiv: Discusses Important Issues

British Foreign Secretary James Cleverley made a surprise visit to Kyiv on Monday and met with President Volodymyr Zelensky.

According to the head of state, he discussed with Cleverley “important topical issues: Ukraine’s expectations from the Vilnius NATO summit, the promotion of the Ukrainian formula for peace and the preparation of the Global Summit for its implementation, the London International Conference on the Reconstruction of Ukraine.”

“We are very grateful for the support that the UK has provided and continues to provide to Ukraine. Over the past weeks, we had talks with the British Prime Minister, had a direct dialogue and very important agreements were reached,” Zelensky stressed.
