What is an Adenovirus?
Adenovirus is a virus that causes diarrhea in general or ordinary diarrhea. And this virus never causes hepatitis. This was revealed by a professor of virology at the University of Nottingham, Will Irving. He told Xinhua recently in an exclusive interview.
Investigations show an association with Adenovirus. According to the UK Health Agency UKHSA, adenovirus was the virus most frequently detected in the samples tested.
Irving said adenovirus had been found in about three-quarters of reported children, but it was a very common infection in children. He believes that adenovirus is not a virus that is associated with any form of hepatitis, let alone very severe hepatitis.
