Arrived in France in 2019 from his native England, Michael Belle will not continue his career in France. For his fourth season with SIG Strasbourg, the rear-winger was dominant in the Espoir championship (17 points, 9 rebounds, 3.1 assists on average) and even appeared 11 times with the professional team. .
Despite obtaining JFL status after his four years in France, the 19-year-old chose to cross the Atlantic to continue his progress. He will join Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) next season.
This American opportunity will allow the very young British international to compete in the renowned university championship with the Rams, the local team engaged in Division I of the NCAA.
