British Army Twitter and YouTube accounts hacked

The British army has been the victim of a hacker attack. A spokesman for the army announced on Sunday evening that the Twitter and YouTube accounts were affected.

The YouTube account was renamed during the cyber attack and now shows videos related to digital currencies. The army has 362,000 followers on Twitter. The YouTube channel has 177,000 subscribers.

An investigation has already been launched. The army did not want to comment until the examination was completed.
