British Ambassador, Ramín Vavai, was at the traditional Tuju festival in this city today and danced in the barró with those present. The activity has been carried out for more than 50 years and is attended by large numbers of people from different parts of the region.
The traditional Tuju festival was organized this afternoon at the Central Ring grounds of this town and was attended by the British ambassador, Ramím Navai. The diplomat’s visit is due to the fact that the first settlers of this town were of English and Australian origin, as well as founders of the New London district.
The British ambassador, Ramín Navai, stated that the great attraction that Paraguay has is the quality of the people and that there are no other people as friendly as in New London anywhere else. He indicated that on his first visit in 2021 he was surprised how people were having fun and dancing together in the mud and that this situation motivated him to return to the district and be part of the traditional Tuju festival.
