British agent jailed for missing Sarah (33): ‘women can walk safely’

The arrested officer is suspected of sexual assault, kidnapping and murder. In a statement, the police called his arrest “shocking and very worrying.” Police also arrested a woman accused of helping the prime suspect.

He was in the unit responsible for the protection of government buildings, embassies and residences of ministers and high visitors, among other things. Police say the suspect was not working when Everard disappeared.

Everard disappeared without a trace in south London on March 3. At the time, she was on her way home on foot. Her disappearance shocked all of Britain. Police searched for the woman with sniffer dogs and visited hundreds of houses in the area. Everard’s family and friends also took part in the search.

Police announced this morning that they may have found Everard’s body. There is not yet any certainty about this. The body has yet to be officially identified.

Anxiety and anxiety

Police boss Cressida Dick tells British media that he is very moved by the case. “Sarah’s disappearance in these circumstances is a nightmare for every family. I speak on behalf of all my colleagues when I say that we have all been deeply moved by this terrible news. Our job is to protect people.”

“Londoners should know that fortunately it is rare for women to disappear in such a way, but I understand that this can create feelings of fear and concern. Especially in the area where Sarah disappeared,” said Dick.
