Forty-nine-year-old British actress Danniella Westbrook is paying a heavy price for her fierce desire to surgically improve her body. When she had an earlier botched operation repaired in Turkey, she was left with only eyes to cry again. She ended up bald and with a “hole in her head”. She underwent “surgical thread removal and fat transfer” in Turkey in April in an attempt to correct a past botched surgery. She had a “lift”, which uses temporary stitches. Over 1,200 threads were inserted into her face, including 200 in her nose to straighten it out, though it still “didn’t work,” according to Westbrook. “I feel like I wasted my time. The main thing I wanted was to fix my nose,” admits in Daily Star. She is said to have spent five days recuperating in Turkey, before flying back to Portugal, where she moved last year. After two days she was back in the hospital.

The former actress confided to her fans on Instagram that she was in “excruciating” pain. The last few days were said to be “terrifying” for her. “I barely flew to Portugal when I had to go to the hospital again. The pain I experienced was unbelievable. An incredibly scary few days. I had a hole in my head, literally,” quoted her IG stories online magazine OK!.
Dangerous sepsis
Already during the flight home she said she felt the stitches “almost bursting on her head”. „Then when I was washing my hair, I realized that the stitches had loosened and I had an open wound on my head. I literally had a hole about three centimeters in the side of my head. I actually fit my finger in there, which was awful.” she described. In addition, she was afraid of sepsis, or infection. “I’ve had sepsis twice in the past and I was afraid I’d have it again. I’ve also had friends die from sepsis so I know how bad it is. I was really scared.’
“I had strands sticking out of the top of my head that I had to cut myself. They also shaved off my hair during the surgery, so I’m bald right in the front,” she said. “I feel terrible. I don’t even want to leave the house. I would just curl up in a ball and die. I feel so down,“ he despairs even now.
„I went to a private hospital in Portugal for treatment. They were shocked at the state I was in. They gave me some antibiotics and advised me to let it heal. It was a living nightmare. I regret it so much. I just want to go back to England and see my family,” wails the actress. „I don’t know how it could have gone so wrong. I think it was a bit of a miscommunication. I would like to turn back time and never go to Turkey for surgery. I will never have surgery abroad again,” he is clear today. However, she has to continue seeing plastic surgeons to try to save her messed up body.

Even so, Danniella is planning another operation, but in the UK. She hopes this will be her last procedure.
