“Britain Transfers ‘Storm Shadow’ Missiles to Ukraine to Counter Russian Presence”

Wallace told members of the lower house of parliament that Great Britain is transferring “Storm Shadow” missiles to Ukraine, without disclosing their number.

According to him, the missiles are now entering or located in the country itself.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak promised in February that Britain would be the first country to give Ukraine the longer-range weapons it has requested from Western allies.

The missiles give Ukraine the ability to attack well behind the front lines, including in Russian-occupied Crimea. The missiles have a range of more than 250 kilometers. Ukraine has promised not to use missiles to attack Russia itself.

Wallace said the missiles would be used to drive Russian forces out of Ukraine’s sovereign territory.
