The lawyer for the online taxi driver of the Brio car said that his client was carrying passengers at the time Toyota Fortuner driver rampage, last Sunday (12/2) early morning. Events on Jl Senopati, South Jakarta it’s called leaving psychic trauma.
“There are passengers behind, meaning that his psychology has been very hard hit by this incident,” said the lawyer for the driver of the Brio car, Manda Berinandus, to reporters, Monday (13/2/2023).
The driver of the Brio car was Ari Widianto. His car was run over by the Pajero driver using an airsoft gun. After the assault rifle-like object was damaged, the Pajero driver took another object to rage the Brio car, namely the samurai.
“He was beaten (his car) using a softgun, it just happened to be a toy softgun, it broke, it wasn’t a toy, I don’t understand. But when it broke, he got back into the car and took out a sturdy samurai who hit him in front of him. It was quite a blow, shock,” said Manda.
Manda said that investigators had brought his client together with the Fortuner driver, his initial name was GR, 24 years old. The meeting was held at the South Jakarta Metro Police. Ari and GR mediated. Ari forgave GR, but the legal process must continue.
“Indeed, it is from us, if we receive an apology, it is a request from him. But we have not responded to peace at this time, because we want the process to continue, even our client through me asked the investigators to immediately arrest the reported person and take a urine test,” he added.
