FAJAR.CO.ID, DOHA — The Tajikistan national team unexpectedly succeeded in qualifying for the last 16 of the 2023 Asian Cup. This was confirmed after the Persian Lions managed to beat Lebanon with a score of 2-1.
The match between Tajikistan vs Lebanon itself was held at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium, Doha, Qatar, Monday (23/1/2024).
In that match, Lebanon took the lead through Bassel Jradi’s goal in the 47th minute.
Then Tajikistan responded with two goals from Parvizdzon Umarbaev in the 80th minute and Nuriddin Khamrokulov ’90+2.
