Fatah sources confirmed to Al-Mayadeen that “the movement is determined to hand over a member of the Islamic League of Ansar, Khaled Alaeddin, who is accused of killing a member of the Palestinian National Security, Mahmoud Zubaidat, after the Palestinian Joint Action Committee and one of the League’s officials acknowledged the need to hand him over to the Lebanese state.”

Al-Mayadeen learned that “the National Security Forces have brought reinforcements from their elements to confront the phenomena of killing, and they will not back down from their demand to extradite the murderer. The reinforcements are estimated at more than 300 personnel trained at the highest levels.”

The sources pointed out that “the National Security Forces informed those concerned that their options are to hand over the killer to the Lebanese state or a military confrontation.”
