And is the Bluetooth function switched on at all? Flight mode, for example, often deactivates Bluetooth, but the radio connection can also be switched on again in this mode.
Limited range
The distance between the transmitter and receiver is also important. The Bluetooth short-range radio often only reaches around ten meters and works best without walls or obstacles in between.
Even if the sender or receiver is already connected to another device, no additional device can be integrated without a special app or distributor.

Coupling is a must
When using the transmitter for the first time, the transmitter and receiver must first be actively coupled to one another. New devices often go into pairing mode automatically, but this can also be activated manually. How exactly this works depends on the device and can be found in the respective instructions for use.
A restart can also help if Bluetooth is stuck. Otherwise it remains to be checked whether the devices are working with the latest Bluetooth versions. Older models may require an update of the firmware, which can be found at the manufacturer.
Delete old connections
Older saved Bluetooth connections can also hinder current ones. Unnecessary connection entries must therefore be deleted and the devices then re-pair.
