The patient at RSJ Zainal Abidin Banda Aceh is suspected of being Bharaka Asep, a member of the Police from the Brimob unit Regiment I Kedung Halang Bogor who was declared missing during the 2004 Aceh tsunami. When his colleague found him, he had the soul of a Brimob member who was still lingering.
“When he was first found by his classmates, it was suspected that Asep did not know them, but the Brimob song was sung. Asep immediately had a perfect attitude and looked like he was following his partner singing, but his voice was not clear, it was just buzzing,” said Winardy.
However, Winardy said, although the man who was suspected of being Asep and had been treated at the RSJ since 2009 had the soul of Brimob still attached and some of the special signs and characteristics conveyed by his family were close to 80 percent the same, the Aceh Police could not speculate.
The police still have to wait for certainty after the results of the DNA and fingerprint tests are out.
“Asep’s physical characteristics have been found in a patient named Zainal Abidin. Indeed, there are differences because his stature is now thinner and older, that is a consideration. However, we have matched 80 percent of the physical characteristics mentioned by his brother in Asep who are now named Zainal Abidin, “said Winardy.
