Brimob Officer Detained as Suspect in Parigi Moutong Underage Intercourse Case

The Central Sulawesi (Central Sulawesi) Regional Police have appointed officers Brimob, Ipda NPS as a suspect in the case of intercourse with a 15-year-old girl in Parigi Moutong (Parimo). Ipda NPS was immediately detained.

“Tonight we will be detained at the Central Sulawesi Regional Police Headquarters, not at the Satbrimob,” said Central Sulawesi Regional Police Chief Inspector General Agus Nugroho, reported by detikSulsel, Saturday (3/6/2023).

The determination of the suspect by Ipda NPS is the commitment of the Central Sulawesi Regional Police in completing the handling of this case. The police emphasized that they would not discriminate against the case.

“There is no discrimination, and the handling of this case is in accordance with what I said yesterday, professionally-proportionally. We sit according to the portion,” said Inspector General Agus.

“We process everything. We have named eleven (total suspected perpetrators) as suspects,” he continued.

Previously it was reported, the investigation team had completed evidence to establish Ipda NPS as a suspect.
