The Indonesian Legal Aid Foundation (YLBHI) stated that Brimob members intimidated the public prosecutor and the panel of judges who tried the Kanjuruhan tragedy.
The intimidation in question occurred in the 12th trial which took place at the Surabaya District Court (PN) on Tuesday (14/2).
Dozens of Brimob members were seen shouting and cheering in front of the Surabaya District Court courtroom.
They even shouted at the public prosecutor while the trial was being suspended.
