A member of Brimob in Wamena, Papua, Bripda DR reportedly died as a result of being attacked by an unknown person (OTK). Bripda DR suffered stab wounds.
“Bripda DR died with stab wounds,” said Head of Public Relations of the Papuan Police, Kombes Ahmad Mustofa Kamal, as quoted by Antara. secondsSulselSunday (19/6/2022).
Bripda DR was attacked by OTK in the Napua District, Wamena, at around 15.20 WIT this afternoon. The incident began when the head of Bripda DR, AKP RM, was invited to shoot a cow by a resident with the initials AM.
Furthermore, AKP RM brought Bripda DR with him to the location. After shooting the cow, AKP RM then went to check on it. Meanwhile Bripda DR was left behind.
“Bripda DR was alone at the location where he was shooting, then 2 people came with machetes and slashed Bripda DR,” said Kombes Kamal.
Kamal said the body of Bripda DR was taken to Wamena Hospital. Meanwhile, when asked about the perpetrators of the attack, Kamal said his party was still investigating.
